Microsoft Office Picture manager is an editing tool used to
manipulate and compress photos. There
are a number of similar programs applications
such as Picasso that can be used. I choose
to use Microsoft Office Picture manager as this application comes with the
Microsoft suite, so is readily at hand and is not dependent on having online access.
Microsoft Office Picture manager can:
1. Compress photos to a suitable size for posting on blogs and
web pages. 2. Resize photos. Squeezing a photo to a smaller size only makes the photo smaller in area, not smaller in resolution, or pixel sixe
3. Rotate photos
4. Crop
5. Remove red eye
6. Add / lessen colour contract and brightness
7. Auto correct8. And of course saving, exporting, printing etc.
Click once on any photo and then right mouse click on the
photo. Scroll down to Open with and scroll onto Microsoft Office Picture
manager.
How can I use this in my classroom?
