59. Virtual Dice

Virtual Dice is a resource / game used directly online. On the screen appear a number of dice with varying numbers of faces from the standard 6 face dice to a 12 face dice. As a teacher / player can choose the appropriate dice for the type of activity or the age of your children. I found this a useful activity for probability and creating numbers eg the largest number created from the 3 dice rolls. Both the dice and the numbers on the dice are large enough( much larger than this image) and really clear for a group of children to view on a laptop or a class computer. An additional feature is that you can customise the values that you would like to appear on the face of a dice. This can be a really useful attribute for working with multiples of numbers, or factors of numbers and probability.
